NASA STEM Education and Career Awareness

Students and educators will learn about current and future NASA research and missions such as STS-131. NASA speaker(s) will enhance the students and educators’ understanding of how science, technology, engineering, and mathematics taught in the classroom is applied in real-world settings within NASA wind tunnels, laboratories, and other facilities through discussions, multimedia, and an engaging question and answer session.

Following this presentation about NASA’s vision and mission and how they align to STEM education, the participants will have opportunity to learn about various K – 12 NASA education opportunities (i.e., hands-on materials, web-based applications, internships, etc.).
