Miss Fayetteville State - Amber Lindsay

Amber Lindsay is a senior Forensic Science major and Music Minor from Columbia, South Carolina.  The daughter of Col. & Mrs. Rodney Lindsay, Amber is a 2006 graduate of Brooke Point High School.  While in High School Amber was a member of the Latin Club, Symphonic Band, Stafford Choral Society, All-State Choir, Show Choir, and Track Team.  Amber is an Honors Scholar, a member of the Fayetteville State University Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Women’s Ensemble Main Attraction, Forensic Science Club, Global Scholar, and Bronco Women. She has appeared on the Dean’s List and the Chancellor’s List.  Amber recently traveled to Shanghai and Beijing China with the FSU Study Program.   She enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending church, writing music and playing musical instruments.  She is the daughter of Col. & Mrs. Rodney Lindsay. Amber is a member of Greenview First Baptist Church. Upon graduation, Amber plans to pursue a career in medicine. Amber states, “Being a Bronco is truly a blessing and an opportunity that has been a journey full of lasting memories and future successes. It has been a privilege to be afforded an education at this excellent institution enriched with Bronco Pride and a foundation for educational, professional, and personal enhancement.”  Upon graduation, Amber plans to pursue a career in medicine. Amber’s philosophy in life comes from Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
