Countdown to the CIAA: The Legacy Continues

CIAA partners with Charlotte Center City Partners to Promote Building Community Wealth

Charlotte, NC (February 9, 2016) - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), in partnership with Charlotte Center City Partners, engage the Charlotte business community during a pre-tournament networking event focusing on building community wealth.

“The CIAA is excited to partner with influential organizations to engage the Charlotte business community,” says CIAA Commissioner, Jacqie McWilliams. “It is important to have these types of events where students, entrepreneurs and business leaders of diverse backgrounds and experiences can come together to learn from and network with one another. Knowledge is truly powerful.”

The event is an exclusive invitation for companies to learn how to: 1) Create generational wealth, 2) How to engage the small business community, and 3) Achieve greater income and profits.  Attendees will hear from wealth-building experts; George Fraser and Dr. Dennis Kimbro, speak on these topics as event’s featured guest speakers.

“Charlotte is known for its entrepreneurial spirit and this event exemplifies the support and services we as a City continue to provide to our business community,” says Council Member, James “Smuggie” Mitchell.
