CIAA & Charlotte: A Great Partnership

Just beyond the action on the court at Time Warner Cable Arena, Center City Charlotte is a shining example of Southern hospitality with more than 4,100 hotel rooms, 170 dining and nightlife destinations, 45,000 parking spaces, and 850,000 square feet of meeting space within Charlotte Convention Center.  And thanks to new openings, there’s never been a better time for CIAA fans to visit the Queen City. New hotel additions include the the Hotel Sierra, the Aloft Charlotte Uptown Hotel in The EpiCentre, the area’s newest mixed used dining, nightlife, and entertainment development, and The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte.  

Other additions include the Levine Center for the Arts on South Tryon Street, comprised of the Mint Museum Uptown, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, and the Knight Theater.  A revamped Discovery Place and the new NASCAR Hall of Fame are not-to-be-missed destinations for CIAA fans heading into town as well.  And for painting the town red, the EpiCentre and NC Music Factory are both definite crowd pleasers chock full of dining, nightlife and entertainment hotspots. 

Make sure you check out the NASCAR Hall of Fame during your stay in Charlotte. Enjoy amazing artifacts, interactive exhibits, simulator rides and special events at the High Octane Theater. Plus, you can grab a bite to eat in the NASCAR Hall of Fame Café or at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant.
