Just beyond the action on the court at Time Warner Cable Arena, Center City Charlotte is a shining example of Southern hospitality with more than 4,100 hotel rooms, 170 dining and nightlife destinations, 45,000 parking spaces, and 850,000 square feet of meeting space within Charlotte Convention Center. 


Other additions include the Levine Center for the Arts on South Tryon Street, comprised of the Mint Museum Uptown, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, and the Knight Theater.  A revamped Discovery Place and the new NASCAR Hall of Fame are not-to-be-missed destinations for CIAA fans heading into town as well.  And for painting the town red, the EpiCentre and NC Music Factory are both definite crowd pleasers chock full of dining, nightlife and entertainment hotspots.

Fans can also take advantage of the efficient LYNX Blue Rail light rail system, which connects South Charlotte, South End, and Center City to dining, nightlife, culture, the Charlotte Convention Center, and Time Warner Cable Arena.
