Imani Milliones-Roman was born February 24, 1994, twelve minutes after her brother Aman. She began cheerleading and learning to play piano while attending Madison Elementary. She attended Frick International Studies Academy for junior high school and graduated from Pittsburgh Obama Academy in 2012. Imani now humbly serves as the 42nd Miss Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. She studies Early Childhood Education and will complete her studies in May 2016.
On campus, Imani is an active member of the Horace Mann Bond Honors Program, Admissions Student Ambassador Program, Class of 2016 executive board, and the Lincoln University cheerleading team. Firm in the belief that to whom much is given much is required, Imani loves to give back to her community and uplift others. Her life goals include, becoming a classroom teacher, principal, superintendent, United States Secretary of Education, and retiring as the president of an Historically Black College or University.
Imani’s platform is centered on the meaning of her name, faith. She hopes to encourage everyone around her to have faith in themselves, those around them, and their dreams. It is Imani’s zealous yearning to leave a lasting and positive impact and legacy on those with whom she comes in contact.
