Ashley Roslynn Clark Williams was born the eldest of three children in Detroit, Michigan on December 9, 1994. Since the age of 5 she has been dancing, participating on many athletic teams and has held many positions at her church while managing to always keep her GPA between the 3.7-4.0 ranges. She received an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts just a week prior to her high school graduation. Her scholarly endeavors continue as she has reached her senior year at Livingstone College.
While majoring in Mathematics Teacher Education and being involved in numerous community service driven campus activities Ashley has grown as a young woman while at Livingstone. Through her platform B.E.L.I.E.V.E, she challenges the student body to have no fear and build confidence within themselves, for they can do anything. She is breaking down the mental barrier created by society that you have to be a certain race, age, gender, size, or shape to do things that you dream of.
Ashley plans to uplift her college and community in a positive manner, by continuing to serve as an activist and a positive role model. Ashley’s philosophy on life is 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and a sound mind.”
