On-site admissions will take place for seniors only. Students seeking on-site admission are encouraged to have the institution’s minimum application requirements on hand (i.e., completed application, official transcript, letters of recommendation, personal statement, etc.). Food Lion's 4.0 Scholars Recognition
As a long-standing tradition to honor our top academic achievers, we would like to recognize and congratulate our seniors who have earned a weighted GPA of 4.0 or higher. All students will be given a certificate for their accomplishment. As a change from previous years, only the top two seniors with the highest GPAs will be presented a gift and photo opportunity with Food Lion executives and CIAA Education Day staff.
Please scan and submit transcripts electronically (all in one single file) to email@example.com by Friday, January 26, 2018 for consideration. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Food Lion Outstanding High School Educator Award
The Food Lion Outstanding High School Educator Award celebrates public high school professionals whose leadership and dedication inspire a love of learning in students of all backgrounds and abilities. Awards will be presented to deserving teachers at the conclusion of this year's program. You may nominate yourself or another deserving teacher from your school. Submissions are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 to Mr. Michael Rainey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lunch will be available for purchase. For those groups attending the basketball games, we encourage you to eat lunch at Bojangle's Coliseum to maximize your time in attending the basketball games. For those schools unable to attend the games, concessions will be provided at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Lunch vouchers are available for advance purchase. To purchase vouchers from the Charlotte Convention Center, please contact Mr. James Treadwell at email@example.com. To purchase vouchers from Bojangle's Coliseum, please contact Mr. Osiris Vasquez at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Free Ticket to CIAA Basketball Game
All attendees will receive a wristband to attend any of the basketball games that occur on Wednesday, February 28th. Women's Tournament games are at 12:10, 2:20, and 4:30 p.m., and Men's Tournament games are at 6:40 and 8:50 p.m.
